Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS) – summaries of evidence and practical guidance on best practice for primary care.
EMC – clinical summaries of a medicine (SmPCs) for doses, side effects, interactions, and warnings. Also patient information leaflets (PILs).
MIMS – many primary care professionals have a free subscription. Can be useful for shortages.
NICE – national guidance, assessments of medicines and other interventions, and pathways.
NICE Evidence Search – database of evidence-based approaches from a range of providers.
SPS – expert online advice from NHS pharmacists to help inform decisions about medicines.
